This was the last weekend of the on-site winter program at MacGregor Point Provincial Park. On Friday evening a group of "winter warriors" got together for dinner at Allan's Fireside Grill in Port Elgin. The following morning Tom and Kerry hosted a coffee and goodies get together at their site.
The Saturday weather was perfect for visiting, walking and taking photos. While on the boardwalk near the Visitor's Centre Judy got lucky with her camera and caught a deer "in flight". Her camera didn't afford her the luxury of multiple shots, so this was the only one we got.
A real mixture of weather. Thunder showers early Sunday morning followed by18 degree temperatures Sunday afternoon. High winds on Monday as we departed.
All in all, a great wrap up to the 2010 - 2011 winter camping season!
